GHRP-6 5 mg vial: mixing and syringe units
A 5 mg vial of GHRP-6 mixed with 3 mL of bacteriostatic water is 1.6667 mg/mL. At that strength 100 mcg is 6 units on a U-100 syringe and 300 mcg is 18 units. The doses on this page are a reported range, not a label dose.

Each row is one dose, the volume to draw and where that sits on a U-100 insulin syringe. The last three columns show which syringe sizes can hold it in one draw.
| Dose | Volume | Syringe units | 0.3 mL syringe | 0.5 mL syringe | 1 mL syringe |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 mcg | 0.06 mL | 6 units | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| 200 mcg | 0.12 mL | 12 units | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| 300 mcg | 0.18 mL | 18 units | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Source Reported range, not a label dose. Human studies gave single doses into a vein (about 1 mcg/kg, or a flat 100 mcg) and nasal or oral test doses; no published human study of repeated injections under the skin was found. Not approved in the US or Canada. Vial math is arithmetic.
How to mix a 5 mg GHRP-6 vial
- Wash your hands. Wipe the stopper of the GHRP-6 vial and the water vial with an alcohol swab.
- Draw 3 mL of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
- Push the needle through the stopper of the peptide vial and let the water run slowly down the glass, not straight onto the powder.
- Swirl the vial gently until the powder is gone. Do not shake it.
- Write the date and 1.6667 mg/mL on the vial, then put it in the fridge.
If you add a different amount of water
More water makes each dose a bigger, easier draw. Less water makes it smaller. The milligrams in the vial do not change.
| Water added | Concentration | 100 mcg | 200 mcg | 300 mcg |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL | 5 mg/mL | 2 units | 4 units | 6 units |
| 2 mL | 2.5 mg/mL | 4 units | 8 units | 12 units |
| 3 mL | 1.6667 mg/mL | 6 units | 12 units | 18 units |
The marked row is the amount used in the chart above. Red cells are draws under 5 units, which are hard to read, or over 100 units, which one 1 mL syringe cannot hold.
How many doses are in the vial
| Dose | Whole doses in a 5 mg vial |
|---|---|
| 100 mcg | 50 doses |
| 200 mcg | 25 doses |
| 300 mcg | 16 doses |
How long the vial lasts depends on how often it is used. The reported frequency for GHRP-6 is: one to three times daily.
GHRP-6 5 mg vial questions
How many units is 100 mcg of GHRP-6 from a 5 mg vial?
With 3 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 1.6667 mg/mL. 100 mcg is 0.06 mL, which is 6 units on a U-100 syringe.
How many units is 200 mcg of GHRP-6 from a 5 mg vial?
With 3 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 1.6667 mg/mL. 200 mcg is 0.12 mL, which is 12 units on a U-100 syringe.
How many units is 300 mcg of GHRP-6 from a 5 mg vial?
With 3 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 1.6667 mg/mL. 300 mcg is 0.18 mL, which is 18 units on a U-100 syringe.
How much bacteriostatic water goes in a 5 mg GHRP-6 vial?
3 mL is the amount used on this page. It gives 1.6667 mg/mL and puts the doses at 6, 12, 18 units. Any amount works as long as the math is redone for it.
What if I added 1 mL instead of 3 mL?
The vial would be 5 mg/mL instead of 1.6667 mg/mL, so 100 mcg would be 2 units instead of 6. The dose in the syringe is the same; only the volume changes.
How many doses are in a 5 mg GHRP-6 vial?
Whole doses in one vial: 50 at 100 mcg, 25 at 200 mcg, 16 at 300 mcg.
