Sources and corrections
Every fact on a dosage page links to the label, database record or paper it came from. If a number is wrong or out of date, tell us which page and which number, and it will be checked against the source and fixed.
Where the facts come from
- DailyMed, for the current US label of each approved product.
- Drugs@FDA, for US approval records.
- Health Canada Drug Product Database, for Canadian status.
- PubMed, for published studies.
- ClinicalTrials.gov, for trial records.
Checking a citation yourself
Numbers in square brackets on a page jump to the source list at the bottom. Each entry links to the record that was opened. For papers, that is the PubMed page, which has the abstract.
Reporting a mistake
Go to the contact page and include the address of the page, the number or sentence you think is wrong, and a source if you have one.
Reports are checked against the primary source. If the page is wrong, the data is corrected, the page is rebuilt and the change is written into that page's change log.
