BPC-157 5 mg vial: mixing and syringe units
A 5 mg vial of BPC-157 mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 2.5 mg/mL. At that strength 250 mcg is 10 units on a U-100 syringe and 500 mcg is 20 units. The doses on this page are a reported range, not a label dose.

Each row is one dose, the volume to draw and where that sits on a U-100 insulin syringe. The last three columns show which syringe sizes can hold it in one draw.
| Dose | Volume | Syringe units | 0.3 mL syringe | 0.5 mL syringe | 1 mL syringe |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 250 mcg | 0.10 mL | 10 units | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| 500 mcg | 0.20 mL | 20 units | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Source Reported range, not a label dose. Reports describe 4 to 8 week cycles. No published human study has given it under the skin. Vial math is arithmetic.
How to mix a 5 mg BPC-157 vial
- Wash your hands. Wipe the stopper of the BPC-157 vial and the water vial with an alcohol swab.
- Draw 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
- Push the needle through the stopper of the peptide vial and let the water run slowly down the glass, not straight onto the powder.
- Swirl the vial gently until the powder is gone. Do not shake it.
- Write the date and 2.5 mg/mL on the vial, then put it in the fridge.
If you add a different amount of water
More water makes each dose a bigger, easier draw. Less water makes it smaller. The milligrams in the vial do not change.
| Water added | Concentration | 250 mcg | 500 mcg |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 mL | 5 mg/mL | 5 units | 10 units |
| 2 mL | 2.5 mg/mL | 10 units | 20 units |
| 3 mL | 1.6667 mg/mL | 15 units | 30 units |
The marked row is the amount used in the chart above. Red cells are draws under 5 units, which are hard to read, or over 100 units, which one 1 mL syringe cannot hold.
How many doses are in the vial
| Dose | Whole doses in a 5 mg vial |
|---|---|
| 250 mcg | 20 doses |
| 500 mcg | 10 doses |
How long the vial lasts depends on how often it is used. The reported frequency for BPC-157 is: once or twice daily.
BPC-157 5 mg vial questions
How many units is 250 mcg of BPC-157 from a 5 mg vial?
With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 2.5 mg/mL. 250 mcg is 0.10 mL, which is 10 units on a U-100 syringe.
How many units is 500 mcg of BPC-157 from a 5 mg vial?
With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 2.5 mg/mL. 500 mcg is 0.20 mL, which is 20 units on a U-100 syringe.
How much bacteriostatic water goes in a 5 mg BPC-157 vial?
2 mL is the amount used on this page. It gives 2.5 mg/mL and puts the doses at 10, 20 units. Any amount works as long as the math is redone for it.
What if I added 1 mL instead of 2 mL?
The vial would be 5 mg/mL instead of 2.5 mg/mL, so 250 mcg would be 5 units instead of 10. The dose in the syringe is the same; only the volume changes.
How many doses are in a 5 mg BPC-157 vial?
Whole doses in one vial: 20 at 250 mcg, 10 at 500 mcg.
