MGF 2 mg vial: mixing and syringe units

A 2 mg vial of MGF mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 1 mg/mL. At that strength 100 mcg is 10 units on a U-100 syringe and 200 mcg is 20 units. The doses on this page are a reported range, not a label dose.

MGF 2 mg draw chart

Each row is one dose, the volume to draw and where that sits on a U-100 insulin syringe. The last three columns show which syringe sizes can hold it in one draw.

Source Reported range, not a label dose. No published human study has given MGF peptide at any dose; the evidence is cell and animal work, and one industry lab could not repeat the cell results. Vial math is arithmetic.

How to mix a 2 mg MGF vial

  1. Wash your hands. Wipe the stopper of the MGF vial and the water vial with an alcohol swab.
  2. Draw 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
  3. Push the needle through the stopper of the peptide vial and let the water run slowly down the glass, not straight onto the powder.
  4. Swirl the vial gently until the powder is gone. Do not shake it.
  5. Write the date and 1 mg/mL on the vial, then put it in the fridge.

If you add a different amount of water

More water makes each dose a bigger, easier draw. Less water makes it smaller. The milligrams in the vial do not change.

2 mL1 mg/mL10 units20 units

The marked row is the amount used in the chart above. Red cells are draws under 5 units, which are hard to read, or over 100 units, which one 1 mL syringe cannot hold.

How long the vial lasts depends on how often it is used. The reported frequency for MGF is: once on training days.

MGF 2 mg vial questions

How many units is 100 mcg of MGF from a 2 mg vial?

With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 1 mg/mL. 100 mcg is 0.10 mL, which is 10 units on a U-100 syringe.

How many units is 200 mcg of MGF from a 2 mg vial?

With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 1 mg/mL. 200 mcg is 0.20 mL, which is 20 units on a U-100 syringe.

How much bacteriostatic water goes in a 2 mg MGF vial?

2 mL is the amount used on this page. It gives 1 mg/mL and puts the doses at 10, 20 units. Any amount works as long as the math is redone for it.

What if I added 1 mL instead of 2 mL?

The vial would be 2 mg/mL instead of 1 mg/mL, so 100 mcg would be 5 units instead of 10. The dose in the syringe is the same; only the volume changes.

How many doses are in a 2 mg MGF vial?

Whole doses in one vial: 20 at 100 mcg, 10 at 200 mcg.
