Pinealon 20 mg vial: mixing and syringe units

A 20 mg vial of Pinealon mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 10 mg/mL. At that strength 100 mcg is 1 units on a U-100 syringe and 300 mcg is 3 units. The doses on this page are a reported range, not a label dose.

Pinealon 20 mg draw chart

Each row is one dose, the volume to draw and where that sits on a U-100 insulin syringe. The last three columns show which syringe sizes can hold it in one draw.

Source Reported range, not a label dose. Reports describe 100 to 300 mcg a day for 5 to 10 days, once or twice a year. The one published human dose is 100 mcg by mouth twice a day for two weeks. No published study injected it in people. Vial math is arithmetic.

How to mix a 20 mg Pinealon vial

  1. Wash your hands. Wipe the stopper of the Pinealon vial and the water vial with an alcohol swab.
  2. Draw 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
  3. Push the needle through the stopper of the peptide vial and let the water run slowly down the glass, not straight onto the powder.
  4. Swirl the vial gently until the powder is gone. Do not shake it.
  5. Write the date and 10 mg/mL on the vial, then put it in the fridge.

If you add a different amount of water

More water makes each dose a bigger, easier draw. Less water makes it smaller. The milligrams in the vial do not change.

The marked row is the amount used in the chart above. Red cells are draws under 5 units, which are hard to read, or over 100 units, which one 1 mL syringe cannot hold.

Pinealon 20 mg vial questions

How many units is 100 mcg of Pinealon from a 20 mg vial?

With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 10 mg/mL. 100 mcg is 0.01 mL, which is 1 units on a U-100 syringe.

How many units is 200 mcg of Pinealon from a 20 mg vial?

With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 10 mg/mL. 200 mcg is 0.02 mL, which is 2 units on a U-100 syringe.

How many units is 300 mcg of Pinealon from a 20 mg vial?

With 2 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 10 mg/mL. 300 mcg is 0.03 mL, which is 3 units on a U-100 syringe.

How much bacteriostatic water goes in a 20 mg Pinealon vial?

2 mL is the amount used on this page. It gives 10 mg/mL and puts the doses at 1, 2, 3 units. Any amount works as long as the math is redone for it.

What if I added 1 mL instead of 2 mL?

The vial would be 20 mg/mL instead of 10 mg/mL, so 100 mcg would be 0.5 units instead of 1. The dose in the syringe is the same; only the volume changes.

How many doses are in a 20 mg Pinealon vial?

Whole doses in one vial: 200 at 100 mcg, 100 at 200 mcg, 66 at 300 mcg.
