Retatrutide 10 mg vial: mixing and syringe units

A 10 mg vial of Retatrutide mixed with 1 mL of bacteriostatic water is 10 mg/mL. At that strength 2 mg is 20 units on a U-100 syringe and 9 mg is 90 units. The doses on this page are the doses given in human trials, because there is no approved label.

Retatrutide 10 mg draw chart

Each row is one dose, the volume to draw and where that sits on a U-100 insulin syringe. The last three columns show which syringe sizes can hold it in one draw.

How to mix a 10 mg Retatrutide vial

  1. Wash your hands. Wipe the stopper of the Retatrutide vial and the water vial with an alcohol swab.
  2. Draw 1 mL of bacteriostatic water into a syringe.
  3. Push the needle through the stopper of the peptide vial and let the water run slowly down the glass, not straight onto the powder.
  4. Swirl the vial gently until the powder is gone. Do not shake it.
  5. Write the date and 10 mg/mL on the vial, then put it in the fridge.

If you add a different amount of water

More water makes each dose a bigger, easier draw. Less water makes it smaller. The milligrams in the vial do not change.

The marked row is the amount used in the chart above. Red cells are draws under 5 units, which are hard to read, or over 100 units, which one 1 mL syringe cannot hold.

Retatrutide 10 mg vial questions

How many units is 2 mg of Retatrutide from a 10 mg vial?

With 1 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 10 mg/mL. 2 mg is 0.20 mL, which is 20 units on a U-100 syringe.

How many units is 4 mg of Retatrutide from a 10 mg vial?

With 1 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 10 mg/mL. 4 mg is 0.40 mL, which is 40 units on a U-100 syringe.

How many units is 8 mg of Retatrutide from a 10 mg vial?

With 1 mL of bacteriostatic water the vial is 10 mg/mL. 8 mg is 0.80 mL, which is 80 units on a U-100 syringe.

How much bacteriostatic water goes in a 10 mg Retatrutide vial?

1 mL is the amount used on this page. It gives 10 mg/mL and puts the doses at 20, 40, 80, 90 units. Any amount works as long as the math is redone for it.

What if I added 2 mL instead of 1 mL?

The vial would be 5 mg/mL instead of 10 mg/mL, so 2 mg would be 40 units instead of 20. The dose in the syringe is the same; only the volume changes.

How many doses are in a 10 mg Retatrutide vial?

Whole doses in one vial: 5 at 2 mg, 2 at 4 mg, 1 at 8 mg, 1 at 9 mg.
